Woman knitted with sharp object by unknown man in Boden

The incident happened when the woman met a man unknown to her who must have seemed ill in some way.

- In a way, she perceived that the man seemed to feel ill and when she came closer she stopped and asked how he was feeling and then he pushed her and disappeared from there, says Anette Krig.

Only then did the woman notice that she was bleeding from her stomach. She called 112 herself and was taken by ambulance to a hospital where she was operated on in the abdomen.

The crime is classified as serious abuse and the police are looking for witnesses.

- We know that there were other people in the area who may have seen something. The woman herself describes it as a perpetrator aged 40 to 50 years, about 180 centimeters long and wearing a black hoodie, says Anette Krig.
