“We have received the greatest confidence in the people in history, having received over 2 million votes out of 3.3 million from citizens who came to the polls,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Vučić called the past campaign “clean and honest” and called for a “rebirth of Serbia”.

He also noted that the achieved result is due to the policies pursued by the Serbian authorities. 

According to the first data of the election commission after processing 2.32% of the polls, the Serbian Progressive Party gains 63.35% of the vote.

Earlier it was reported that according to the exit polls of the Center for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID), the Serbian Progressive Party wins the election.

The turnout for the parliamentary elections in Serbia at 19:00 Moscow time was 40.82%.
