US Department of Commerce imposed sanctions against 37 companies from a number of countries

This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the US Department of Commerce.

"These 37 organizations have been identified by the US government as acting contrary to the foreign policy or national security interests of the United States," the statement said. 

As noted, restrictions have been introduced against companies from China, Georgia, Malaysia and Turkey.

Earlier, the US Treasury Department imposed new sanctions related to the DPRK, China and Myanmar.
