The US State Department said yesterday (24th) local time that it fully supports South Korea's position in relation to the North Korean killing of a South Korean government official who disappeared in the West Sea.
A US State Department spokesman said when asked for views on North Korea's killing and burning of South Korean officials, "We fully support our alliance South Korea's condemnation of this act and South Korea's demand for a complete clarification by North Korea."
It seems to have emphasized that close cooperation between the ROK and the United States is maintained in relation to Korea's assertive and principled stance on this issue.
