That is, everything happened so quickly, I didn’t understand at all what we had to do, ”said the Ukrainian soldier.
Another contract soldier said that around 7-8 am on February 24, his unit, which was based near the village of Mirnoye, halfway between Kherson and the Russian-Ukrainian border, received a command to advance to Kherson, but after that no tasks were set.
The Ukrainian military noted that the Russian servicemen during the arrest and the hospital staff treat them well during the treatment.
Earlier, the security service of Ukraine, before retreating from Kherson, recruited members of the local territorial defense for sabotage in the rear of Russian troops.
In addition, in Kherson, the Russian law enforcement agencies gained access to the documents of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) classified as “top secret”.
On February 28, it became known that Berdyansk and Energodar had come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
