“Ukraine, we recall, took a neutral position regarding the political crisis, which was provoked by the dubiously organized voting in the presidential elections in the Republic of Belarus on August 9 this year,” the press service of Zelensky said.
The office added that Kiev supports "the democratic values generally recognized on the European continent."
Earlier, Zelensky expressed the opinion that if the Belarusian state “refuses to dialogue with the people”, then Belarus “may get something like a“ Maidan ”.
According to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Igor Kizim, relations between Minsk and Kiev will undergo slight changes.
