At least 11 people were killed in a train derailment on the 18th local time near Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
According to foreign media such as AFP, four train carriages running in an area 40 km north of Cairo, the capital, derailed.
At least 11 people were killed and 98 were injured in the accident, the Egyptian government announced.
Egyptian authorities are investigating the cause of the accident while transporting the wounded to the hospital.
