The Emirates Women’s Sports Federation organized a celebration for the achievements of the women’s teams participating in the country’s delegation in the third Gulf Games in Kuwait during the period from 16 to 31 last May, at the headquarters of the General Women’s Union in Abu Dhabi, as part of its efforts to encourage and motivate female players for further achievements and out of its keenness to Enhancing the presence of Emirati women on the podiums locally, regionally and internationally.

The event was attended by the Secretary-General of the General Women's Union, President of the Emirates Federation for Women's Sports Noura Al Suwaidi, the Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs of the National Olympic Committee, Eng. Azza bint Suleiman, members of the Emirates Federation for Women's Sports, Chairperson of the Legal Committee Hind Al-Alili, and Head of the National Teams Committee Moza Al Shamsi. Asilah Al-Hashemi, head of the competitions committee.

The program to celebrate the achievements of women's teams included a dialogue session entitled "Making Women Leaders in the Field of Sports", presented by Dr. Abeer Sultan.
