Nothing is right at La République en Marche.

A few hours after the resignation of its number two, Pierre Person, the party was torn Monday evening during an "executive office".

Threats of resignation and kindnesses of all kinds were there.

It must be said that by leaving his post, Pierre Person had launched hostilities by inviting in the newspaper

Le Monde

"all those who want to build the successes of tomorrow to also leave their functions at the head of the party to write a new page" .

Teasing and tackling

The attacks have come from everywhere.

The deputy of Vienne, Sacha Houlié, wanted for example to answer the call of Pierre Person, by also announcing his departure from the decision-making body of the party.

Problem: "He is not a full member, but simply invited: basically he will stop responding to invitations ...", mocks a party figure.

A few minutes later, while the Secretary of State for digital Cédric O relativized the setbacks of LREM, according to him specific to any majority party, Sacha Houlié, tackled him: "I hope you will be more convincing on 5G that you have been tonight ”.

Comment from a witness at the scene: "This meeting is horrific, totally depressed ..."

Faced with this never-ending crisis within the presidential movement, its boss, Stanislas Guerini, proposed that the renewal of the members of the Executive Bureau (BurEx), initially scheduled for November, be postponed after the regional elections, in the spring .

"If you maintain this postponed schedule, then I will not stay", then lambasted the deputy Aurore Bergé, defender of the right wing of the macronie, according to whom "the BurEx does not have the legitimacy to lead the fighting to come ".

"You give hives"

Stanislas Guerini also proposed the appointment of new personalities within the movement: the pair Marie Guévenoux and Jean-Marc Borello as number two to replace Pierre Person, as well as Sibeth Ndiaye and Clément Beaune at the head of the “ideas center”, or the deputy Roland Lescure for the communication of the movement.

At the announcement of these names, Jean-Baptiste Moreau could not help but pout.

He then addressed Marie Guévenoux: "You give urticaria to certain deputies ..."

After four hours of meeting, Stanislas Guerini's proposals were finally adopted by a vote: 18 for, one against, four abstentions.

Aurore Bergé then announced that she was leaving the spokesperson for the party.

The crisis is therefore far from over.
