The President and the Sultan of Oman discuss brotherly relations and developments in the region

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the sisterly Sultan of Oman, held a session of official talks at Al Alam Palace in the Omani capital, Muscat.



During the session, the two sides discussed the relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop them to broader horizons of cooperation, coordination and joint action in all fields to achieve their interests and contribute to promoting development and prosperity for their peoples, based on the well-established historical brotherly relations between the two countries and the ties of love and ties of kinship that unite their two brotherly peoples.



At the beginning of the session, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation, expressing his happiness with this meeting and his pride in the distinguished brotherly relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples.



For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his great happiness at visiting the Sultanate and meeting his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman. He appreciated the warm reception and hospitality he and the accompanying delegation received, wishing the Sultanate and its brotherly people all the best, growth and progress.



The two sides discussed enhancing cooperation and joint coordination in various economic, commercial, investment, cultural and development fields and pushing them forward to meet the aspirations of the two countries and achieve their goals for sustainable development.



His Highness and His Majesty the Sultan of Oman discussed the overall Gulf, Arab and international developments and issues of common concern.



After the official talks session between the two sides ended, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the sisterly Sultan of Oman, held a special bilateral session.
