The Department of Health Tourism in Dubai today held a virtual seminar titled "Dubai Starts the New Launch: Towards an Unparalleled Health Experience" aimed at highlighting the preparations of the health and medical tourism sector to receive tourists from all over the world to receive health care services.

Dr. Marwan Al-Mulla, Executive Director of the Health Regulatory Sector at the Dubai Health Authority said during his intervention at the symposium that the world is facing an unprecedented health crisis that has cast a shadow over various sectors, including medical tourism ... Government agencies made it to confront the Corona pandemic and reduce its repercussions.
He stressed that the UAE is today an example to be followed in prevention and safety measures and is considered one of the safest destinations, as the UAE is ranked first in the Arab world and among the top ten countries in the world in terms of success in dealing with the "Covid 19" pandemic.
He added that despite the magnitude of the challenge and the severity of movement restrictions, the health care sector in Dubai was able to provide support and provide services effectively through virtual means and modern communication technologies used by many hospitals in the emirate, expressing his pride in the outstanding performance of the health sector during the height of the crisis.


Al Mulla pointed out that during the first half of 2020, the Dubai Health Authority issued licenses of 3393 health care facilities in the emirate, including 45 new facilities, noting that “Dubai Health Experience” continues its commitment to support the emirate’s directions to become the world’s favorite destination for medical tourism and a center for the most prominent hospitals and global health centers . "
