According to him, this allows avoiding excessive crowding at polling stations.
As Peskov emphasized, “from the experience of the past, when this vote takes place, we can, of course, say that it is very effective.”
He noted that the possibility of transferring such experience to elections in the future has not yet been considered; the Central Election Commission should first formulate a point of view on this issue.
The all-Russian vote on amendments to the main law of the country started on June 25. The main day, according to the decree of Russian leader Vladimir Putin, is July 1, but citizens can vote even from June 25 to 30.
