A horrific discovery was made last night by a maintenance worker on a train at Saint-Charles station in Marseille.

The lifeless body of a newborn baby was found in a trash can in the toilets of an Ouigo train, according to information from BFMTV that

is able to confirm.

Bloodied toilet paper was also found at the scene.

The investigation was entrusted to the departmental security minors' brigade under the aegis of the prosecution.
