The active phase of the CSTO exercises began in Tajikistan

As RIA Novosti reports, the maneuvers started with an aerial reconnaissance of the exercise area with a pair of L-39 aircraft of the Tajik Air Force.

It is noted that the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin, is in charge of the exercises.

The CSTO forces fought back the conditional groups of militants, forcing them to change the direction of movement.

Earlier it was reported that the special exercises of the CSTO "Echelon-2021", "Poisk-2021" and "Interaction-2021" began in Tajikistan.

More than 4 thousand people take part in them.
