In detail, Judge Khaled Al Hosani told "Emirates Today" that the Personal Status Court is committed before society and the state with the targeted indicators, whether with regard to the average time for completing cases or amicable settlements of family disputes before they reach the court.

He stressed that “the court is keen to abide by its indicators related to the speed of achievement, and there are always instructions that speed should not be at the expense of justice. the parties)".
Al-Hosani stated that the average target is 100 days to complete the case, which is a sufficient period and balances between appropriate speed and non-disruption of rights. Regarding the attendance system to the Personal Status Court, Al-Hosani said that there are two experiences that the court conducted, personal attendance before the pandemic, and electronic appearance during the movement restriction period, and it decided, after studying and analyzing the results and experiences, to implement the hybrid attendance system, meaning allowing the parties to the lawsuit to attend in person if needed. The judge or the family counselor, or if they have a desire to attend, or to apply remote attendance in cases that do not require personal attendance.
He added that there are cases in which personal attendance is imperative, especially in the settlement stage, because eye contact and face-to-face talk have a much stronger effect than communicating via video or telephone, stressing that the Personal Status Court studies each case separately, and applies what it sees in the interest of the family and the parties to the case. .
