U.S. State Department special representative for North Korea, Sung Kim, visited South Korea yesterday (23rd) to discuss the North Korean nuclear weapons chief.

Representative Sung Kim is scheduled to meet Roh Gyu-deok, head of the Korean Peninsula Peace Negotiation Headquarters, South Korea's chief representative for North Korea's nuclear program this morning to discuss ways to resume dialogue with North Korea.

President Sung Kim said, "I look forward to a productive follow-up consultation," given that the Korea-U.S. talks are held in five days, and it is noteworthy whether the US will take a more advanced stance on the Korean government's proposed declaration of an end to the Korean War.
