Biathlete Stina Nilsson fell on a downhill slope during a training session in Östersund and landed on her elbow. This is announced by the Swedish Biathlon Federation in a press release on Thursday.
- Stina has a small fracture at the elbow which is treated with relief. I feel safe in the expertise Stina receives in Östersund and there are very good hopes that the healing will go well, says national team doctor Lykke Tamm.
Stina Nilsson will now not be on the starting line at next week's Swedish Championships in roller biathlon in Dala Järna.
