"Twenty warships, boats and support vessels of the Baltic Fleet have left their permanent bases and entered the designated areas of the Baltic Sea to perform tasks as part of planned combat training activities," the Fleet Information Support Service reported to TASS.

It is noted that the ships, united in several tactical groups, will perform tasks in anti-submarine, air defense and mine support for detachments with practical combat exercises.

Earlier it was reported that a detachment of warships of the Baltic Fleet as part of the corvettes Stoykiy and Soobrazitelny left Baltiysk on a long voyage.
