At the same time, NATO’s national forces are close to the Russian border in Ukraine and the Black Sea.   Zakharova stated that the reconnaissance activities carried out by foreign military aircraft and radio electronic equipment along the Russian border and the Donbass contact line on the Ukrainian side are very active.

  Zakharova added, “NATO countries continue to provide Ukrainian armed forces with financial and material logistical support, provide lethal weapons, and dispatch Western instructors to train Ukrainian soldiers.”

  Recently, the situation in eastern Ukraine has become tense. Uzbek government forces and civilian armed forces accused each other of opening fire and provocation.
