The department noted that during the exercises, the search for submarines of a mock enemy, the organization of air defense, as well as the implementation of combat training exercises on surface and air targets will be worked out.

“At the exit from the concentration areas, a number of tasks have already been worked out, including practical actions to overcome areas of the sea with a mine hazard and artillery firing exercises were carried out at mock-ups of floating mines that pose a danger to peaceful navigation,” TASS reports.

As Newinform previously reported, the Pacific Fleet will have at its disposal three submarines by the end of this year.
