During Sunday's climate hearing in Agenda, politicians from the eight parliamentary parties gave their views on how they want to meet challenges with the climate and achieve Sweden's goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045.

After each subject, nine researchers were asked to assess whether the politicians' measures could be sufficient.

- A lot are things that take time, but we need to reduce emissions now, says Göran Finnveden, professor of environmental strategic analysis at KTH.

The participating researchers have a long and solid academic background and are active at the country's heaviest universities, colleges or research institutes.

For the greatest possible transparency about their mission and commitment, we list the researchers' background here.
