Today, Saturday, the State Prosecutor's Office published an educational video material on its social media accounts, in which it confirmed the keenness of the Emirati legislator to ensure the protection of the child from the dangers of traffic accidents.

The Public Prosecution indicated that the competent authorities and the concerned authorities are working to ensure the protection of the child from the dangers of traffic accidents in accordance with the provisions of the Traffic and Traffic Law and the laws amending it, in accordance with the provisions of Article 58 of Federal Law No. 3 of 2016 regarding the Child Rights Law "Wadima", which It stipulates that children under the age of ten years are prohibited from sitting in the front seats of vehicles of all kinds, and that controls be put in place regarding the use of recreational bicycles by children.

The Public Prosecution noted the importance of Federal Law No. 3 of 2016 regarding the Child Rights Law "Wadima" and its role in setting controls and enforcing practices to ensure the child's right to life, survival and development, and providing all necessary opportunities to achieve this, in addition to protecting the child from all manifestations of neglect and exploitation.
