  The reporter learned from the Jiangxi Provincial Hydrological Monitoring Center on the same day that on June 23 this year, the Poyang Lake Xingzi Station had the highest annual water level of 19.43 meters, which was 2.81 meters higher than the average for the same period of the year; Due to the common influence of less, the water level of Poyang Lake dropped rapidly, and the water level began to change from high to low on July 9.

Since June 23, the water level of Poyang Lake Xingzi Station has dropped by 7.44 meters within 44 days, with an average daily decline of 0.17 meters and a maximum daily decline of 0.31 meters (August 4).

In the dry season of Poyang Lake, the original misty lake surface has disappeared, and the riverbed has become a tidal flat or a grassy island.

The average appearance time of 1951-2002 is 100 days earlier, which is 69 days earlier than the average appearance time of 2003-2021.
