The two men are based in Märsta outside Stockholm, they were convicted of, on December 9, 2019, placed a sharp explosive charge of just over a kilo of nitroglycerin on a window sill to a pizzeria in Eksjö. The reason was a financial debt that a relative of the pizza owner had to the perpetrators.

They tried to light the explosive charge but failed. If the bomb had exploded, it could have caused very great damage.

The prosecutor had demanded that the men be sentenced to prison for four and five years respectively. In its judgment, Eksjötingsrecht writes that it is considered to be evidence that the men put the bomb on a window sill at the pizzeria, but consider that the prison sentence should instead be three and a half years and three years.
