Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon officially apologized to former Mayor Park Won-soon victim of sexual harassment on the 20th.

Oh, the mayor, said that there was insufficient coping after the incident, and that the method of holding the funeral for the former mayor was wrong. He said that he had taken personnel action against him.



He said he would take measures to prevent this from happening again in the future.



Mayor Oh said that he would immediately introduce the'One Strike Out System', which means immediate expulsion when sexual misconduct is confirmed.



The'Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Review Committee' recommended by the National Human Rights Commission of Korea has been upgraded to a special organization composed of external experts, opened a hotline for reporting sexual abuse, and introduced a mandatory system to complete 100% sexual violence education for members of affiliated organizations.
