Some tips for setting up your teleworking space

Not everyone has a room set up as an office at home: this can make it difficult to set up a real teleworking space.

However, it is possible, provided you have the right reflexes.

First, take the time to define a place entirely dedicated to this activity: it can be a rolling desk, a shelf fixed to the wall or simply a corner of the table.

The important thing is to be comfortable: you should not have to lower your head to look at the computer screen, or have your back arched.

Stop the pain!

The light present in your teleworking space is also important, since it allows you to limit eye strain.

Ideally, ambient light should be close to the brightness of your computer screen.

If the need arises, invest in a desk lamp.

Another essential purchase: the seat, or office chair.

It must be comfortable and at least adjustable in height.

The adjustment of your seat is very important, as it allows you to stay upright when working.

Your feet should be on the floor or on a suitable footrest.

Finally, for phone calls, choose the hands-free kit, which allows you to do several things at once!

Teleworking: how to organize yourself well?

In “teleworking”, there is “work”: this means that your daily life should not be summed up in this, even if you are passionate about your job!

The first risk associated with teleworking is not knowing when to stop.

Every day, try to respect fixed schedules: you start at such time, and finish at such time.

When lunchtime arrives, take a real break: don't eat in a few minutes in front of your screen.

Throughout the day, take breaks, get up to walk and stretch.

And when the end of the working day arrives, disconnect!

Take the time to think about something else, and you will quickly find the balance.
