NATO fighters escorted Russian Tu-152s in the far sea zone

As part of exercises and combat training events, 33 aircraft, 15 helicopters and drones of the naval aviation of the Navy performed simultaneous flights.

“Ten Tu-142 anti-submarine aircraft performed scheduled flights to the distant sea zone over the waters of the Black, Baltic, Norwegian, Chukchi Seas, the Beaufort Sea, along the Northern Sea Route and over the neutral waters of the Pacific Ocean,” Interfax quoted him as saying.

According to him, NATO fighters accompanied Russian aircraft during their flight in the far sea zone.

Previously, two Russian Su-27s flew to intercept a US Air Force bomber over the Baltic Sea.
