The vaccinations at the upper secondary schools are supposed to start already this week.
Within the region, there is no goal for all upper secondary schools in the county to receive vaccines on site, but the municipalities are free to contact the vaccinators themselves, says Lena Nazzal.
- What we can achieve in high schools are also the 18- and 19-year-olds and maybe also staff at the school, so I see that as a great opportunity.
Drop in - and vaccine at the mall
In addition to the school vaccination, the region will also begin to allow drips into its regular vaccination sites, vaccinate on site on the campus at Linnaeus University - and soon also offer vaccination in shopping centers:

New phase in the vaccination campaign
The vaccination campaign in Kronoberg is entering a new phase this autumn.
Those who were interested in getting vaccinated soon received both one and two doses - now the focus is instead on reaching groups who have not been vaccinated.
These are mainly 18-39-year-olds and people with a country of birth other than Sweden.
According to a report from the Swedish Public Health Agency from 18 August, only 56 per cent of the group with a non-European country of birth were vaccinated.
The group of men also stands out.
Only 71 percent of the men in Kronoberg have been vaccinated - against 81 percent of the women.
- We are just at the beginning of thinking about - what can we do differently to reach men, we have had some vaccination in the workplace, you can also imagine that it will be easier with drop in as well, says Lena Andersson Nazzal.
