China News Agency, Moscow, November 19 (Zhang Meng Tianbing) Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov held a joint meeting with the visiting Chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Swedish Foreign Minister Linde on the 19th in Moscow. The press conference stated that the crisis of confidence among the OSCE member states is deepening.

According to the news from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website that day, Lavrov said that he welcomes Sweden to regularly "check the clock" for OSCE issues.

He said that since the two sides met in February this year, the situation of the organization has not improved and the problems have not been reduced.

"We recognize that the current situation is characterized by a deepening crisis of trust between participating countries and a dominant logic of confrontation rather than constructive dialogue and cooperation, and the OSCE should have been established for the latter."

Lavrov emphasized that attempts to use the OSCE to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries are a very dangerous path, and such practices must be stopped.

The OSCE should play a real role in seeking collective responses to common challenges and threats.

Lavrov emphasized the role of the OSCE in resolving the Ukrainian crisis.

He said that he has no choice but to fully implement the package of measures under the Minsk Agreement.

He also stated that the Chairman-in-Office of the OSCE, including its special representative in Ukraine and the contact group, should promote direct dialogue between the parties to the conflict: Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk, and hoped that the OSCE would be stationed in Ukraine. The Special Observer Mission ensures the impartiality of its work when observing the situation on the ground.

Lavrov said: "Today is an opportunity to discuss events within the OSCE, which will prepare for the Council of Foreign Ministers to be held in Stockholm in early December."

It is reported that the 28th Council of Ministers of the OSCE will be held in Stockholm, Sweden from December 2nd to 3rd.
