Actor Kang-Ho Song, who starred in the movie 'The Broker', was selected as the recipient of the Best Actor Award at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival.
This is the first time for a Korean actor to win Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival.
Actor Song Dong-won, who sat next to him, and director Hirokazu Koreeda and Kang Dong-won, who were sitting next to each other, hugged and then went on stage to express his gratitude to fellow actors, directors and family members who were with them.

It is the second time that a Korean director has won the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival after Im Kwon-taek, who directed 'Chwihwaseon'.
