According to Stremousov, the residents of the Kherson region are already ready to go to a referendum and vote for it as a subject of the Russian Federation.
As previously reported, referendums on joining Russia Zaporozhye and Kherson regions can be held on the same day.
In the US, they said they do not recognize and reject the results of a possible referendum.
