“According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day on 01/06/2020, 35 forest fires on an area of 3809 ha were eliminated in Russia," the agency said.
As of 00:00 on June 2, 11 forest fires were operating in Russia on an area of 9008 hectares, they were actively extinguished.
Earlier it became known that the emergency regime in forests was introduced in four Russian regions, and a special fire protection regime is in force in 49 other regions.
