The Hatta Police Station in Dubai recorded 219 violations of 152 warning violations and 67 penal violations of the precautionary measures for fighting Corona virus, in implementation of the State Attorney General's Decision No. 38 of 2020 regarding the application of the regulation for controlling violations and administrative penalties issued by Cabinet Resolution No. 17 of 2020 to limit the spread Corona virus, while 59 people signed special pledges after violating the precautionary measures.
The director of the Hatta Police Center, Colonel Mubarak Mubarak Al Ketbi, said that, based on the instructions of the Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, and the follow-up to the Assistant Commander in Chief for Criminal Research Affairs, Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, the Hatta Police Center formed a working group to implement the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai Regarding the application of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Corona virus, including work to spread awareness in the external community and the internal community of Dubai Police.
He added that the Hatta police station worked to achieve community safety by contributing to awareness-raising operations, implementing national sterilization programs in coordination with the competent health authorities, in addition to implementing orders to restrict traffic and pedestrians on the internal and external roads and residential neighborhoods, and setting up checkpoints to verify permissible movement permits It out and prevent mobility.
He pointed out that the center has allocated 14 patrols that operate 24 hours a day, and set 5 traffic points to ensure the application of precautionary measures and enhance security and safety. He also worked to spread field awareness through 34 lectures and field visits that benefited more than 1500 people, including lectures and health workshops on Prevention of infection with the "Corona" virus, methods of transmission and how to protect themselves, and what are the symptoms that appear on the infected person and other other instructions. Hundreds of sterilizers and masks have been distributed and sterilization materials and tools provided.
He explained that the center contributed to the national sterilization operations in 10 locations in the Hatta region, and provided meals for nearly 7099 people in addition to contributing to the efforts of conducting the health survey, also conducted more than 1000 sterilization operations for the patrols on a continuous basis, and more than 1200 sterilization operations for work facilities, While the center allowed the application of the remote work system to 29 employees, and provided all public safety requirements such as masks, masks, gloves, and sterilization materials, in addition to spreading awareness of the need for physical distance and developing awareness posters.
