Four bridge connections were opened at the intersection of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street with Dubai-Al Ain Road, with a capacity of two tracks for each link and a total length of 2,600 meters, to ensure direct and free traffic in all directions on the intersection, and a major bridge was opened on the intersection of Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Street Al Nahyan with a 220-meter Dubai-Al Ain road with two lanes, in addition to two links to provide back turn traffic for those coming from Dubai.
Upon his arrival at the intersection of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road with Dubai-Al Ain Road, His Highness the Crown Prince of Dubai was received by General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, Matar Mohammed Al Tayer.
