  It is understood that the Chinese University of Hong Kong has updated the undergraduate handbook. All undergraduates admitted from the next academic year must take two new subjects, "Understanding China" and "National Constitutional Order and Hong Kong", each of which counts as 1 credit. The course content includes China History, cultural thinking, economic and technological development, and the fundamental constitutional principles of "one country, two systems", the Basic Law and the Hong Kong National Security Law.

  The Chinese University of Hong Kong held an Orientation Day on the 11th, holding orientation lectures and academy introductions and consultations for new students. At the end of the orientation lectures, a "National Security Lecture" was held. Li Haoran, a member of the Legislative Council who is also a member of the Civic Education Committee, was invited to give a lecture, explaining that national security-related laws are in very common internationally.
