This is good news for the French who have planned to go abroad this summer. "If the health situation allows it", Edouard Philippe explained that "France will be in favor of reopening the internal borders of Europe, from June 15".

The Prime Minister also made it clear that travelers from European countries would not have to undergo a "fortnight" upon entering France. In addition, he indicated that this measure will be applied "reciprocally vis-à-vis European States which decide to close their borders or to impose fortnight on the French". As for borders outside the European Union, they will remain closed at least until June 15.
