The damage was discovered last night.
38 residential barracks set up in an area in Kil were then damaged.
- They were under a roof construction that was cut so that water leaked in and caused extensive damage, says police spokesman Lars Hedelin.
In connection with the sabotage, equipment from the barracks had also been stolen and a wheel loader vandalized.
According to the police, the damage amounts to very high values.
A preliminary investigation regarding vandalism has been initiated.
At present, no suspect has been arrested.
