Initiated by the Disabled Federation of Wangjing Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing, the shadow puppet "curling competition", which is self-made and performed by the disabled, will be staged in the warm home of Wangjing Street during the Winter Paralympics.
The students who make shadow puppets are all intellectually or spiritually handicapped, and this is not the first time they have made shadow puppets.
Previously, the Wangjing Street Disabled Persons' Federation had organized and produced a shadow puppet show with the theme of Journey to the West. The seemingly simple performance could exercise their expressive, hands-on and collaboration skills, helping them experience and integrate into society.
And this course combines the Winter Olympics and ice hockey related content, which also allows them to better understand and experience the grand occasion of the Winter Olympics.
