Deputy head of the Ministry of Construction Yeresko: it is already impossible to return part of the debts in the housing and communal services sector of Russia

According to him, the total amount of debt in the industry has already reached 1.4 trillion rubles.

“There is a large part of the debts that have accumulated over the years for enterprises, many of which no longer exist, for real estate objects that no longer exist.

It is no longer possible to recover them in full, ”Yeresko said.

He noted that this group also includes the debts of residents and enterprises to resource-supplying organizations. 

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to develop and approve a comprehensive program for the modernization of housing and communal services by January 15.
