The participants in the meeting on housing and communal services told Degtyarev that the resource-supplying organization had a large debt for gas due to the debts of the population.

"I understand people, the tariff is unacceptable for many ... We need to think here, apply for additional subsidies ... People are worried about prices," said the acting head of the region.

Degtyarev said that in 2018 the Khabarovsk Territory was in 72nd place out of 85 in terms of the share of the population's expenses for housing and communal services.

According to him, it is necessary "to try to reduce tariffs for the population through appeals to the federal subsidizing center."

At the same time, the Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Khabarovsk Territory, Dariy Tyurin, told reporters that the authorities intend to consider the possibility of lowering tariffs for low-income citizens.

Earlier, Degtyarev said that he plans to discuss with the public the implementation of national projects, targeted programs and the budget.
