Cooperation between the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, "Alina Space" and "Altech"

The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Italian company Thales Alina Space and Aerospace Logistics Engineering Technologies (ALTECH), which provides for the identification of opportunities to study and develop solutions for space and planetary exploration.

The MoU was signed by Salem Al Marri, Deputy Director General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, Massimo Claudio, Global Director of Thales Alina Space, and Vicenzo Giorgio, CEO of Altec, on the sidelines of the International Astronautical Conference, the most prominent event of its kind in The space sector is currently held in the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The initial areas of cooperation identified under the Memorandum of Understanding include the development of interplanetary exploration missions, the design and integration of probe and ground-based simulation systems, higher education activities dedicated to space exploration, the development of technical systems, and other areas of cooperation.
