Perhaps this is the opportunity to relive the sensation of the video club.

With the advent of streaming and VOD, those places where we spent a lot of time (for the more ... experienced) to find the right DVD or VHS that would fill our evening, has almost completely disappeared.

This winter, Amazon would like to try to make us relive this moment by opening its ephemeral store, the Prime video club, "a modern reinterpretation of the video club" according to the firm itself.

There, no boxes or CDs to peel, Amazon will offer visitors to discover its catalog, available online.

A dubbing studio and a preview

From December 10 to 12, with a free entry, the store will offer to reserve private screening rooms to see (or re-watch) certain films and series with friends and should screen a few films in preview, including the highly anticipated

Spencer

which traces the life of Lady Di, played by Kristen Stewart, which is scheduled for release in January 2022. A dubbing studio will also allow amateurs to become the French voices of their favorite films and series.

The boutique will be located at 30, place de la Madeleine (8th) and the full program will be unveiled on November 29 on a dedicated website.
