The National Center of Meteorology warned that the region will be affected during the period from 5 to 7 July by an extension of an air depression coming from northern India and southern Pakistan, towards the Sultanate of Oman, accompanied by various formations of rainy clouds over Oman, pointing out that some of these clouds extend over the country, especially in the northern regions. The eastern, as well as extending to the southeastern regions, may be accompanied by light to medium rain at times.

The center pointed out that July is one of the summer months that witness a rise in temperatures, as the region and the country are affected by the extension of thermal depressions, the most important of which is India's seasonal depression, which works to raise temperatures, explaining that the eastern and southern mountainous regions of the country are exposed to the formation of cumulus clouds as These clouds develop because of the mountains, high temperatures and cause rain in the afternoon periods.

He stated that some regions of the country are also affected during this month, especially in the second half of it, by the extension of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), which is accompanied by the formation of some convective rainy clouds sometimes, noting that the land and sea breeze cycle plays an important role during this month, as the country is affected by winds. Southeasterly at night and in the morning and with northerly winds during the day. Also, the country is sometimes affected by active south winds, especially during the morning period that may raise dust. Northwest winds are also active sometimes and are laden and dusty.

The center reported that the relative humidity increases on some days during the early morning period in some areas, and fog or light fog may form on some few days during the month.
