Noises, gatherings, annoying drunkenness, waste left everywhere.

Almost all the cities of Italy from north to south are struggling these days with the resumption of "nocturnal" activities.

Thanks to the lengthening of the curfew and the all in all contained trend of infections, the streets of the historic centers are filled daily with young people eager to regain their lost freedom.

All this, however, often seasoned with intemperance and failure to respect basic rules of civilization. For this reason, there are many administrations that are proceeding with new measures to avoid gatherings and to prevent damage to their historic centers. Measures ranging from the ban on the administration of alcohol after a certain hour to police officers and carabinieri to avoid gatherings.

Exhibited in Bologna against nightlife

The committees and associations of residents of the 'nightlife areas' of Bologna, primarily the university area and Piazza San Francesco, return to office to "ask the city authorities - prefect, mayor, commissioner and prosecutor - concrete and effective interventions to report the situation to an acceptable condition of livability ". This is what we read in the statement signed by 12 companies in the historic center of Bologna, which denounce "the rampant presence of drug dealers who operate undisturbed and in an increasingly brazen and aggressive manner, in addition to the indecent use of drugs on the steps and in the hallways. of buildings even in broad daylight ". But also "theunbearable nocturnal noise pollution due to the presence of hundreds of individuals who also commit serious acts of vandalism, the noises, songs and screams of groups of very young people, often drunk, without almost any control being exercised by the police, the habit, by traveling groups in the streets and under the arcades, of performing real concerts of percussion instruments in the middle of the night, even with the use of loudspeakers, and the uncontrolled illegal sale of alcohol ". the request, "once again", to "activate concrete measures to combat and prevent all criminal activities or activities that do not respect the elementary rules of conduct, with the use of adequate means and forces", by the associations, who remind the mayor and the prefect that "it is their precise duty to implement all the necessary measures to prevent permanent damage to the mental and physical health of citizens and that it is their duty to protect their dignity and dignity in all circumstances. these protections - they conclude - is a serious act of omission which, in our opinion, can no longer be tolerated ".

Alcoholic beverages prohibited in Quartu

Those who thought of moving from Cagliari to the seafront of the nearby Quartu Sant'Elena to give themselves crazy joy, and thus dribble the restrictions on the consumption of alcohol outside the clubs in the evening, will have to review their plans. The mayor of the third city of Sardinia in terms of number of inhabitants, Graziano Milia, has decided to give a squeeze similar to that adopted a few weeks ago by his colleague from Cagliari. An ordinance signed today also prohibits the sale of beverages (even non-alcoholic ones) in glass containers and cans on the coast of Quartu and consumption on the street from 9 pm to 6 am. The restrictions, decided to prevent episodes of violence and intemperance and to contain the risk of gatherings and the uncontrolled abandonment of waste, especially on the Poetto seafront, will remain in force until next 31 October. The ban on the sale of beverages concerns, in particular, the areas within 300 meters of the perimeter where public events take place and the state-owned areas, behind the management and the appurtenances of viale Golfo di Quartu. In other cases, the sale for take-away and the administration are allowed only in paper or plastic cups. The drinks will be allowed only in the premises or in the authorized dehors, with the obligation for the operator to dispose of bottles and cans once the customer has finished consuming.the sale for take-away and the administration are allowed only in paper or plastic cups. Street educators in Genoa

A task force of street educators who interact with the boys and girls of the nightlife with the most risky behaviors to dialogue with them, with a view to welcoming and meeting rather than repression.

This is the next card that the Municipality of Genoa intends to play to combat the phenomena of decay in the nights of the historic center of the Ligurian capital. "We are continuing with what was established with the ordinances - underlines the mayor of Genoa Marco Bucci - but in addition to the severity of the rules we are also preparing a series of social interventions, of educators who meet young people also, but not only, during hours of nightlife ". The Municipality is developing a project - "very valid", says Bucci - together with the local associations and the details will be revealed next week. Already in the past months, as part of the 'Caruggi plan', the Municipality of Genoa, on the spur of the managing director of Social Mario Baronihad launched a call for € 75,000 for associations that had organized projects for the education and involvement of children in the historic center.
