July 29, 2021: An 8.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the Alaska Peninsula. This was reported by the American Usgs, specifying that the epicenter is located 91 km east-southeast of Perryville, at a depth of 46.7 km. 


Two aftershocks of magnitude 6.2 and 5.6 were felt in the same area. A tsunami warning was issued for southern Alaska and the peninsula.
