In flight, the victims were in special medical modules that allow monitoring the condition of patients.

Earlier, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, arrived in Izhevsk in connection with the investigation of a criminal case on an attack on a school.

The police and the National Guard have stepped up security measures in the schools of Izhevsk after the shooting at school No. 88.

The press service of the government of Udmurtia, citing the Russian Investigative Committee, reported that the death toll in a school shooting in Izhevsk had risen to 17, of which 11 were children.

From 26 to 29 September, mourning for the dead was declared in Udmurtia.
