On the sidelines of the Trans Musicales festival, the 43th edition of which takes place until Sunday evening, another musical festive event has been taking place since last night in Rennes.

An undeclared teknival brings together this Sunday afternoon nearly a thousand people in an abandoned hangar in the industrial zone, not far from the Cleunay shopping center.

The participants, who arrived shortly before midnight;

were estimated between 1,500 and 2,000 at the end of the night, reports the prefecture of Ille-et-Vilaine.

The latter denounces the "irresponsible nature of this rave party, which is also taking place in a context of strong resumption of the Covid-19 epidemic".

Six people were evacuated to the Rennes University Hospital for "light care".

The regional health agency (ARS) and civil protection have urgently installed screening points.

The prefect of Ille-et-Vilaine calls on each of the participants to "show responsibility", considering themselves as risky contact cases, to isolate themselves at home immediately and to get tested quickly.
