The Limoges urban security police are tasked with shedding light on an assault that occurred on Sunday evening and which claimed the life of a 28-year-old Afghan national.

The events took place around 8:30 p.m., in the middle of the street, in front of a home for migrants and people in difficulty.

The victim succumbed to several stab wounds.

She has eleven injuries according to France Bleu Limousin, and succumbed shortly after arriving at the hospital.

A 20-year-old Algerian was arrested and taken into custody.
