"In the period from 17 to 29 October 2021 in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a joint Russian-Egyptian tactical exercise" Defenders of Friendship 2021 "will be held with the practical landing of personnel and airborne equipment of the two countries," Interfax reports the message of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that within the framework of the exercise, the personnel will work out interaction in the preparation and conduct of hostilities in the course of blocking and destroying illegal armed formations in a desert area.
According to the military, more than five hundred paratroopers from Russia and Egypt will be involved in the exercise.
