The emergency services were alerted around 11 a.m. but when they arrived at the scene of the tragedy, it was too late.

The doctor pronounced him dead on the spot.

Weapons seized, autopsy ordered

An investigation was opened and entrusted to the gendarmes of the Pertuis company.

Those present were all interviewed and the weapons were seized.

Investigators are now awaiting the results of the ballistics tests.

According to our colleagues, the author of the fatal shot had not yet been formally identified on Monday.

An autopsy of the victim must also be carried out.
